Main tasks and responsibilities

  • Conduct pre-start checks
  • Start Crusher circuit
  • Conduct after start checks
  • Perform routine operational checks
  • Clear blocked transfer chutes
  • Clear blinded and overloaded screens
  • Clear blocked feeders
  • Clear overloaded conveyor belts
  • Undertake general Crusher housekeeping
  • Implement lock-out tag-out procedure
  • Participate in effective shift handover procedures
  • Work consistently towards maintaining production targets
  • Undertake fault finding and reporting
  • Conduct safe and efficient shutdown
  • Performs routine preventive maintenance in the circuit
  • Fill out proper reports and log books
  • Undertake other duties within the level of competency as specified by the workplace foreman

Qualifications and Experience

  • Previous experience in mining/milling operations or an industrial production environment is desirable

This is a non-management position
This is a full time position
