Battle North Gold is currently seeking a Database Management Geologist at the Bateman Gold Project.

The Geologist, Database Management will be responsible for managing Battle North’s chip/drill hole database while helping develop / implementing QAQC procedures and protocols. This position is a hands on position requiring solid technical skills, as well as excellent collaborative, interpersonal and written communication skills.

The ideal candidate will live in the Red Lake, ON and possess the following:  
 
Academic Requirements and Experience: 

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Geology or related Earth Science program;
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in database management or related field;
  • Registered or eligible to register as a P.Geo. with Professional Geoscientists Ontario ("PGO") Licensed preferred; 

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

  • Core logging and sampling experience using a standard geological software;
  • Strong computer skills and proficient in Microsoft Office;
  • Proficient in the use of acQuire or related database management software;
  • SQL experience is preferred.
