Mobile Maintenance Supervisor Expat Trainer

Department: Mobile Maintenance Department

Reporting to: Heavy Mobile Maintenance Superintendent, SMD Lefa

Summary of the Position:

• Direct supervision of workshop and field maintenance activities
• Direct supervision of workshop and field maintenance activities
• Assist in maintenance task and resource scheduling including: fueling, running repairs, breakdown response, component replacements, equipment inspections, backlog repairs etc;
• National supervisor training and mentoring
• Maintenance crew training and development including all technical functions related to inspection, testing and adjustment
• Maintenance task completion QA/QC – Quality Assurance/Quality Control monitoring
• Maintenance program development and implementation

Primary Responsibilities:

• This position will accept responsibility at the workforce level for the SAFE, timely and cost effective supervision of maintenance activities in support of Komatsu fleet at SMD Lefa. Responsibilities will include:

a) SAFETY program monitoring and development,

b) Local supervisor mentoring and direct crew supervision, training and development,

c) Transfer of proven maintenance best practices,

d) Maintenance quality monitoring, and

e) Continuous improvement of workshop & field Maintenance activities.
