Caterpillar is the world's leading manufacturer of construction and mining equipment, diesel and natural gas engines, industrial gas turbines and diesel-electric locomotives. The company principally operates through its three primary segments - Construction Industries, Resource Industries and Energy & Transportation - and provides financing and related services through its Financial Products segment.

Caterpillar's Procurement Leadership and Technical Development Program (LTDP) is a three-year rotational program designed to accelerate development of entry-level talent and provide a solid foundation for meeting challenges within the Purchasing function of Supply Chain. Being part of the LTDP team offers you a broad exposure to Caterpillar, presents diverse project responsibilities, engages you in a global team, provides cross-functional job experiences and includes valuable networking opportunities with all levels of Caterpillar leadership. This program provides the foundation for future success of Caterpillar's procurement specialists and technical professionals.

Caterpillar's Procurement Track is focused on building technical competencies for managing Caterpillar's Supplier Relationship Management, Supply Chain Integration and Procurement functions. This opportunity advances your development and training with a focus on the technical aspect of procurement, manufacturing, quality, supplier management and operations supervision. At the successful completion of the three-year program, procurement professionals are placed into permanent positions within the Procurement function at Caterpillar Inc.

Professionals within the program will complete three 12-month rotations, which are defined based on business needs. You must be willing to travel and relocate to any participating facility in North America upon hire and throughout each rotation while in the program.

Applicants will be considered for positions throughout the United States.

At Caterpillar, you build what matters - whether it's the career you want, crucial work skills, strong relationships or new digital technologies.
