Purpose

Essential Duties

• Service, maintain, and repair surface mining equipment
• Operation of light and heavy equipment as needed
• Troubleshoot equipment and apply best practices to successfully repair and maintain top of the line mining equipment

Training & Experience

To be considered for this position, the applicant must meet the following requirements:

• Three (3) or more years of experience maintaining heavy equipment in a mining, construction, diesel mechanic or farming environment
• Experience maintaining diesel equipment
• Experience maintaining electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on mobile equipment
• Ability to read and understand schematics of mobile equipment
• Strong problem solving skills
• Proven excellent safety and attendance record
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the job

Working Conditions

Must be willing work a 12-hour rotating schedule.
