As the successful candidate, you will:
- Develop new clientele and business in FERC/NEPA-regulated sectors and ensure continual division growth and profitability;
- Manage and assist with all aspects of FERC/NEPA projects. Project tasks may include:
- Prepare responses to requests for proposals for FERC/NEPA projects;
- Preparing FERC Resource Reports and NEPA documentation;
- Capitalize on existing Hatch client relationships and energy/power project experience to expand services in existing and new operational regions; this will involve working with other Hatch discipline leaders to develop cross-selling strategies and initiatives;
- Hire, develop and mentor new personnel to support permitting personnel growth throughout the US; and,
- Develop, maintain, and report on the division’s business plan and performance.
You bring to the role:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Planning, Natural Resources, or related environmental field. Master’s Degree preferred;
- Minimum 15 years of experience working on hydroelectric projects; thermal projects and electricity transmission project experience a plus;
- Expert knowledge of FERC's environmental regulations for hydropowwer facilities;
- Successful experience in developing and managing FERC/NEPA-regulated projects;
- Respected and known expert in the marketplace;
- Strong, proven client development and client management abilities.
