About this role

What will you be responsible for?
This is a leadership position responsible for architecture and designing of a large scale, sophisticated system integration projects.
Experience across multiple platforms, business processes and architectures are needed as well as broad knowledge of new technologies; strong ability to lead a team and technical activities with the customer; and accurately evaluate risks.

Your role will consist of

Here is a snapshot of what your day to day will look like:
• Responsible for Global O365 services to include Infrastructure Design and Operations, O365 general (Exchange, SharePoint, PIM, Conditional Access, Azure Identity), Intune (must include DEP & VPP, Windows 10, Polices), Azure AD Connect, PAW workstations, Exchange hybrid
• Provides leadership and oversight of Global O365 services within the Cloud & Infrastructure Teams
• Manage cloud infrastructure services (O365, AWS, Azure and GCP)
• Provides leadership and technical oversight of infrastructure services within the enterprise environment, Compute, Storage, AD, ADFS, PKI (must include SCEP, hardware HSM management), Advanced PowerShell
• Participate in design activities, record engineering decisions made during the design sessions, validate that infrastructure development is within the budget constraints of program plan.
• Design Cloud and On-Prem infrastructure to increase the efficiency of operations, active monitoring, and alerting.
• Constantly evaluate new solutions to help in infrastructure cost containment or reductions.
• Identify, analyze, and provide recommendations and solutions for high-priority applications, and coordinate and conduct working groups with the right participants (North America or International) to address any given initiative.
• Implement infrastructure projects and transition rollout to an infrastructure support team
• Lead the effort to build an elastic infrastructure (cloud based, flexible based on infrastructure usage)
Lead and manage support group resources to meet global infrastructure processes, change controls, documentation, and infrastructure SLA's

Your training, skills, and experience checklist

Here is what we would need to see from you!
Knowledge:
• Bachelor's Degree or Technical qualification in Information Technology or Computer Science
• Solid understanding of change management, technology trends, tactical approach, action planning and management required for successful team performance.
• Solid understanding of Mining Operations and Processing
• Has a deep understanding of project financial management: budget reporting, control, and forecasting.
• Has an overall understanding of the objectives and functions of the Company, business units and departments serviced by IT.
Experience:
• University Degree or Technical Certificate or equivalent experience.
• 15+ years of experience in technical Architectural role.
• 5+ years of supervisor/leadership in service or data center operations.
• 4+ years project management experience.
• Driven leader, with a pro-active and strategic vision of IT service delivery.
• Has wide and detailed knowledge of technology areas including O365 Cloud services, Azure Cloud services, Microsoft Servers, Network Storage, Networks, Firewalls, Microsoft Desktops, Citrix, Server Virtualization.
• Skilled at issue resolution.
• Has a deep understanding of service level agreements and metrics.
• Good communicator with ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing with outstanding people, team, and facilitation skills.
• Cost and budget control.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, previous leadership, management and supervisory experience
• Driven individual focused on service with strong skills for issue resolution
• Adept at managing teams of employees and vendors in a matrix environment and from multiple cultures.
• Ability to identify problems, make decisions, create solutions, and take action.
• Highly self-motivated and advised with an attention to detail and a strong customer service orientation.
