UG Maintenance Foreman

We are looking for Maintenance Foreman with a strong UG experience to join a dynamic global organisation with operations in West Africa.

POSITION SUMMARY

As Maintenance Foreman you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance team busy responding to the service, breakdown and maintenance of mobile mining equipment in accordance with plant maintenance and safety procedures. The role will be responsible for:

• Ensuring service and maintenance of site mobile equipment is compliant to company standards;
• Coordinating of preventative servicing, breakdown and maintenance of UG and Surface mobile fleet;
• Managing sourcing parts and resources
• Conducting regular inspections of the fleet to maximise equipment availability and reliability
• Managing performance issues and provide reviews on employee

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

• Trade certificate with demonstrated senior maintenance supervision experience
• Solid experience working at a Supervisory level and have the capacity to lead your team and mentor local maintenance staff
• Strong knowledge of workplace safety & experience in a broad range of safety activities
• Experience monitoring mining equipment and processes in a UG mining environment
• Maintenance Systems experience 
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build effective work relationships and team building;
