On behalf of an ASX listed explorer, with active copper-gold exploration targets in NSW and NT, we are looking to appoint a Senior Exploration Geologist to play an essential part in the discovery team.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of a growing team in a well-funded organisation planning to continue expansion. Led by highly experienced Technical Geological Leadership Team whom candidates will have the ability to learn and hone their exploration/geological skills, ability to generate concepts for high level peer review and ultimately field testing, and an opportunity to work with world class technical experts.

Key duties;

• Organise and plan field work activities
• Take part in technical discussions to identify exploration targets and mineralisation theories
• Design sampling and drilling programs
• Hand-on field work and data interpretation.

About you:

• At least 5-10 years post graduate experience, with at least 4 years' experience working with porphyry, epithermal gold or IOCG deposits
• Have an aptitude for discovery and experience with project generation
• Strong technical background and hands-on practical skills
• Ability to work independently and with a small team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• MSc or PHd degree will be highly desirable.
