We are looking for an experienced Contract Manager to join our Construction team in Hastings. You will work with our widener management team and will be responsible for overall delivery of 3Waters construction projects within the region including optimising resource use and achieving target results. About the role
You will be tasked with a variety of duties in your role from providing your technical expertise on a range of projects varying form Local Authority to Private Developer contracts. This is a hands-on role where you will work closely with other construction/maintenance teams.Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Producing project methodology, budgets and programmes
  • Working in conjunction with the Construction Manager to estimate and tender for new projects
  • Overall responsibility for specific project implementation and delivery for 3Waters projects
  • Directing and leading the Contract Engineer and Supervisor, and their teams as well as sub-contractors
  • Developing and fostering strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and suppliers

About you
You'll need to have proven successful Contract/Project Management experience ideally with 3Waters Utilities or Road Maintenance, and/or Construction and you'll also couple this with:
  • A tertiary qualification, preferably in Business Management or Civil Engineering
  • A strong track record of positive leadership behaviours that empower others
  • The ability to create and deliver a strong customer focus culture, and a collaborative approach to develop client relationships
  • A proven track record in developing a culture that supports Health and Safety management, encouraging and rewarding excellence.
