Mine Operations Truck Operator
The Seabee Gold Operation is an underground gold mining and milling operation, located near Laonil Lake, Saskatchewan, Canada, approximately 125 kilometers northeast of the town of La Ronge. The Santoy underground mine has been in continuous commercial production since 2014. Commercial production at the Seabee underground mine commenced in 1991 and exhausted Mineral Resources in 2018. All ore is processed at the Seabee mill facility, which has been in operation since 1991.
This position has a schedule of 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off. You will be required to fly in fly out with pick up points in Saskatoon, Prince Albert & La Ronge.
We are currently seeking a Mine Operations Truck Operator.
Reporting to the Mine Operations Supervisor, you will ensure the transport of ore and waste rock. You may also be required to carry out various duties related to production and development.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY & DUTIES
- Operation of 30 & 40 ton trucks
- Operation of 2,4,6,8 yard scoops
- Knowledge of scaling procedures
- Familiar with underground emergency procedures

- The selected candidate will have a minimum two years' experience working in a hard rock underground mining operation.
- Preference will be given to individuals with experience on mine haulage trucks.
- Operation of manual and remote scoop tram experience will be an asset.
- Previous mine rescue training is also considered an asset.
In addition, the successful candidate must demonstrate good communication skills and have a positive and proactive attitude towards safety.
As a condition of employment, the successful candidate must possess a security screening document or equivalent document as defined by The Mines Regulations, 2018 . The successful candidate will be required to maintain their security screening document or equivalent document throughout their employment at their own expense, and will be required to provide confirmation of same and advise the employer of any changes to, revocation of or suspension of their security screening document during the term of their employment.
