Position: Tax Analyst
Work Location: Fortescue centre, East Perth
Roster: 5:2, 12-month Fixed Term contract
Reporting to the Senior Tax Advisor, the purpose of the Tax Analyst will be to provide ongoing support to the whole Fortescue Tax Team, with focus on the timely and accurate delivery of various compliance obligations.

Position: Tax Analyst

Reporting to the Senior Tax Advisor, the purpose of the Tax Analyst will be to provide ongoing support to the whole Fortescue Tax Team, with focus on the timely and accurate delivery of various compliance obligations.
Key accountabilities will include:
- Preparation of tax effect calculations and related financial statement disclosures
- Preparation of PAYG instalment calculations
- Preparation of income tax returns, including transfer pricing documentation and disclosures, and coordination of the R&D application process
- Preparation of GST, FBT and Payroll Tax returns
- Assist the Senior Tax Advisor and Tax Managers with all aspects of direct and indirect tax as required
Qualifications and skills required:
- Undergraduate degree majoring in Finance, Tax, Accounting and/or Law
- CA/CPA qualified
- 2-3 years' experience in corporate tax, including strong knowledge of tax theory and practice
- Resource industry knowledge preferred
- Experience in Global Integrator and SAP preferred
