To support Mineral Resources continued diversification and growth, we are currently seeking to appoint a Senior Project Engineer to lead the delivery of a range of EPC projects in commodity material handling. This role is based Applecross and will work on one of our flagship new construction project

A self-starter, you will be technically competent and experienced in delivering materials handling projects as a contractor. You will have a passion for construction project delivery and provide insightful leadership to your team.

Reporting to the Project Director your remit will include but not be limited to:
  • Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with Senior Management
  • Pro-active development and management of the project through detailed engineering and execution
  • Development and management of project budgets, resources, and staffing to meet objectives and time frames
  • Promote and ensure optimal results in safety and environmental management
  • Provide regular reporting to Senior Management on project performance
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential problems and lead contingency plans
  • Review selection of plant and equipment ensuring that due consideration is given to engineering and commercial factors
  • The management of internal and external relationships with key stakeholders

To be considered for this position you Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline would be preferred, however is not essential and trade background applicants are encouraged to apply. You will have extensive "Hands On" project delivery experience in a similar role preferably on materials handling projects.
