BOILERMAKER - REBUILDS WORKSHOP | TOMAGO

About the role

Due to an internal movement we have an opportunity for an experienced and quality focused boilermaker to join the team in the Rebuilds section of the General Workshop at Tomago. In this role you will deliver safe and quality work through team collaboration, to ensure our customers receive the best quality product and service.

This position is available on a full time permanent basis working a rotating roster of 2 weeks days followed by 2 weeks nights, 10 hour shifts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assisting with large mining machinery rebuilds
  • Carrying out welding repairs to mobile mining equipment
  • Fabrication of required equipment modifications

Skills & Experience
  • Certificate III - Engineering Fabrication (Boilermaker)
  • Several years experience post trade qualification
  • Strong focus on and pride in the quality of work
  • Caterpillar product knowledge and maintenance experience
  • Thrive in a team environment
