Who we're looking for?

Reporting to the Specialist, Procurement North America and Business Relations, the Document & Contracts Controller is responsible for developing and recommending document control process and systems with the objective of safety improvement, operation continuity, compliance and governance. Providing safe, efficient and cost-effective document control of full project lifecycles in accordance with statutory requirements and company objectives is key.

Responsibilities will include;
  • Supporting shareholder and corporate value through demonstrated achievement toward the strategic objectives
  • Lead operational discipline with document control in alignment with business priorities and expectations through clearly defining what is expected, ensuring understanding of expectations, verifying that expectations are delivered on
  • Lead the implementation of document control to maximise asset potential and deliver on the plans
  • Identify the need for change to deliver on operational objectives
  • Lead the identification and management of document control risk through compliance with risk management processes and practices
  • Monitor, audit and report on non-compliance to document control
  • Maintain document control systems to auditable standard

We are looking for a candidate that has a demonstrated commitment and influence in providing a safe and healthy working environment. Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years in document control and record management, a degree in IT, and Project management certification. Experience in process improvement in complex environments within multi-national mining companies, preferable within Finance, Supply, IT and SAP functions is desired. We are seeking someone with a passion for understanding business processes and designing solutions that incorporates business requirements and integrates regulatory and legislative requirements. In addition, you will also have:
  • Strong Microsoft Applications experience including Microsoft Visio and Projects
  • Experience designing, implementing and managing information management solutions in SharePoint and Office365
  • Experience in organizational change management using the ADKAR change management model
  • Experience in information and data management functions including meta-data management, information quality management, information security management and document and content management
