Our Red Chris mine is located on the traditional territory of the Tahltan and we encourage qualified applicants from the local communities to apply. We offer several designated marshalling points within BC including Nanaimo, Vancouver, Kelowna, Kamloops, Williams Lake, Prince George and Smithers.

The purpose of this role is to assist with cleaning the interior of equipment during preventative maintenance checks and component change outs. This role is essential to keeping our equipment clean and safe to operate. Reporting to the Mobile Maintenance Supervisor, responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Cleaning equipment cabs
• Providing detailed written feedback on Work Orders
• Assisting with general shop cleaning duties

Who we're looking for

We are looking for someone with a strong commitment and adherence to all safety policies and procedures. Ideally, you will be keen on maintaining cleanliness standards and have previous experience with industrial cleaning supplies. Preference given to those candidates with familiarity with Caterpillar haul trucks, dozers, graders, Hitachi and Komatsu hydraulic excavators and shovels, P&H 2800XPB shovel and Atlas Copco drills. It is important that you can climb up and down equipment boarding ladders to access the operator cabs. You will also have strong written and verbal communications skills.
