Our Red Chris mine is located on the traditional territory of the Tahltan and we encourage qualified applicants from the local communities to apply. We offer several designated marshalling points within BC including Nanaimo, Vancouver, Kelowna, Kamloops, Williams Lake, Prince George and Smithers.

The Mobile Maintenance Trainer is responsible for the day to day implementation and maintenance of the Mine Training systems. This includes Mine Operations, Mobile Maintenance, TIA and Technical Services, systems and processes. This role has a strong focus on trades related training, including the Apprenticeship program.

Who we're looking for

We are looking for someone with an advanced understanding of trade related training, including Apprenticeship programs. Someone with safety leadership and team development knowledge and experience is considered an asset. Understanding of Competency Assessment and experience with Learning Management Systems and e-learning development are expected.

In addition, you will also have the following:

• Class 5 Driver's License
• Mobile Equipment Trainer Certification (Skid Steer, Wheel Loader, C/B Forklift, O/H Crane, Telehandler, AWP)
• ITA Red Seal in relevant Trade (Welding, Millwright, Heavy Duty Mechanic etc.)
• Strong computer skills, preferably with Microsoft Office, SAP, DATS
• E-Learning Software experience
• Strong presentation skills with groups of various sizes
