Trainer & Assessor - OPF
Work Location: Solomon
Roster: 8D/6R - FIFO ex Perth
Reporting to the Training Supervisor, Fortescue is seeking a motivated Trainer and Assessor to join the Solomon Training team at Solomon Mine. This permanent full-time position will provide safe, effective and timely training to customers at Solomon. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, customer focused team.

- Delivery OPF Training and Assessing
- Facilitation of classroom based training and onboarding new starters
- Ability to demonstrate initiative and work autonomously
- Well organised with excellent time management skills and strong attention to details
- Good teamwork culture with a positive attitude and a high level of customer service skills are essential
- Align with Fortescue Values and safety culture
Qualifications and skills required:
- Current Certificate IV Training and Assessment (TAE 40116 Preferable)
- Experience in OPF operations
- Current C Class License (HR Preferable but not essential)
- High Risk Work Licenses for DG, LF, WP
- Current Safe Working at Height, Enter and Work in Confined Spaces, Gas Test Atmospheres, Telescopic Handler National Units of Competency desirable
- Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite and SAP
