Trainer & Assessor - OPF

Work Location: Solomon

Roster: 8D/6R - FIFO ex Perth

Reporting to the Training Supervisor, Fortescue is seeking a motivated Trainer and Assessor to join the Solomon Training team at Solomon Mine. This permanent full-time position will provide safe, effective and timely training to customers at Solomon. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, customer focused team.

Key accountabilities will include:

• Delivery OPF Training and Assessing
• Facilitation of classroom based training and onboarding new starters
• Ability to demonstrate initiative and work autonomously
• Well organised with excellent time management skills and strong attention to details
• Good teamwork culture with a positive attitude and a high level of customer service skills are essential
• Align with Fortescue Values and safety culture

Qualifications and skills required:

• Current Certificate IV Training and Assessment (TAE 40116 Preferable)
• Experience in OPF operations
• Current C Class License (HR Preferable but not essential)
• High Risk Work Licenses for DG, LF, WP
• Current Safe Working at Height, Enter and Work in Confined Spaces, Gas Test Atmospheres, Telescopic Handler National Units of Competency desirable
• Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite and SAP
