We are proud to be working together with the Horowhenua District Council on the 3 Waters Alliance contract which manages the reticulation network, water and wastewater treatment plants, the annual 3 waters renewals programme and the capital projects for the Horowhenua region.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Support Administrator to join our team!

About the role:

As our Business Support Administrator, you will play a vital role within the team. The role offers responsibility and autonomy so you must be highly organised with plenty of initiative. This will be a busy and varied role and you will be tasked with ensuring finance and administration functions are carried out to a consistently high level of service, provide quality administration and contract support services to team members.

You will find yourself involved in tasks such as data entry, processing invoices and claims, debt collection, journal entry, month end, contract and general admin functions.

About you:

To be successful in this role you will ideally have the following skills and attributes:
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills with a high literacy and numerical standard
  • Strong data base and intermediate level excel skills
  • Accounting knowledge essential including journal entries (debits/credits)
  • Previous experience with JD Edwards and RAMM Contractor database will be an advantage
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • The ability to work under pressure
  • Well organised and disciplined.
