Hatch is currently looking for a Civil Engineer for its Civil Site Development team in the Montreal office.

Functions and responsibilities:

• Contribute to site development projects in the company main business sectors: mining and metals, infrastructure and energy;
• Design civil engineering works such as roads, storage areas, drainage networks and underground services, wall retaining structures, water retention structures and mass excavations;
• Evaluate and plan the engineering activities necessary for the execution of mandates;
• Perform or supervise engineering activities such as calculation notes, technical reports, plans and specifications;
• Supervise the CAD designer in the production of 3D models and drawings;
• Ensure the quality of deliverables according to project standards;
• Coordinate work with other engineering disciplines;
• Carry out quantity and cost estimates;
• Answer technical questions;

Skills and talents sought:

• Have a bachelor's degree in civil engineering;
• Have 7 years of relevant experience;
• Member of the Order of Engineers of Quebec;
• Manage several projects at the same time and work efficiently;
• Be able to adapt to different customers and business sectors;
• Be bilingual: French and English, both oral and written (an asset);
