Hatch is currently looking for a Civil Designer Technician in dams and retaining structures for its Civil Site Development team in the Montreal office.

Functions and responsibilities:

• Perform 3D modeling using CAD software of dams and retaining structures such as dykes and earthfill dams
• Produce drawings from 3D models according to project procedures and standards and customer expectations
• Coordinate drawing execution with other disciplines
• Estimate quantities for the preparation of the estimations
• Manage the drawings on the various project servers

Skills and talents sought:

• Have a college diploma (DEC) in civil engineering
• Have a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
• Competent with the AutoCad Civil 3D software
• Familiarity with MicroStation InRoads / OpenRoads and ProjectWise software (an asset)
• Be familiar with geolocation systems
• Be able to adapt to different customers
• Be bilingual: French and English, both oral and written (an asset)
