Come join the beautiful scenery and work life balance lifestyle in Tauranga!! We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Construction team. Following lockdown our team has come out better and stronger and now were growing to meet the demand.

If successful, you'll be involved in the leading and mentoring our team of Project Managers and assisting with the delivery on construction project requirements, optimising resource use and achieving target results. This is a great role for a driven individual looking to make their mark!

About the role
As our Senior Project Manager you'll be producing project methodology, budgets and programmes. You will also be:

• Working in conjunction with the Construction Manager to estimate and tender for new projects
• Overall responsibility for specific project implementation and delivery
• Directing and leading Site Works Managers, teams as well as sub-contractors
• Developing and fostering strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and suppliers

About you
Maybe you are looking for your next challenge or you are a seasoned Manager looking for change? Either way you will be passionate about project management, in particular Construction, actively seek continuous improvement, and be an inspirational leader.

You'll demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

• The ability to create and deliver a strong customer focus culture, and a collaborative approach to develop client relationships
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Proven track record in developing a culture that supports Health and Safety management, encouraging and rewarding excellence.
• Proven successful Contract Management experience ideally within Road Maintenance, Utilities and/or Construction
• Tertiary qualification, preferably in Business Management or Civil Engineering
