About the role

This role will ensure that the appropriate support and assistance is supplied to MRL operations through the utilisation, review and improvement of the Training Framework and Training Management System, analysis of training needs and management and scheduling of the Roving Trainer Assessors. This role requires regular site travel as the business requires (>40% site travel).

What we're after

We're looking for someone who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and enjoys a challenging yet rewarding work environment. You will be responsible for;
  • Review, development and support the implementation of the MRL Training Framework and Management System.
  • Build key relationships with management teams to ensure a proactive approach is adopted with regards to training needs and training is factored into mobilisations, incident learnings, implementation of new machinery, systems and processes.
  • Develop training and assessment materials, electronic assessments, training related reports and notifications to meet business needs.
  • Audit MRL sites to ensure compliance to the Training Framework requirements.
  • Liaise with external parties including the Registered Training Organisation and external training providers.

What you'll bring to the team
  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE 40116)
  • Diploma of Training (desirable)
  • Certificate IV in Frontline Management (desirable)Training Management System experience (INX- InTuition desirable)
  • Experience with Nationally Recognised Training and associated RTO Standards
  • Experience in development of engaging internal training and assessment packages
  • Experience in reviewing policies, procedures and documents
  • Experience in auditing processes is desirable
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage time effectively2 or more-year experience in a Training Leadership role in the Resources Sector
