Light Vehicle or Heavy Road Haulage Mechanic
WorkPac is partnered with Rio Tinto and are currently seeking Light vehicle or Heavy Road Haulage mechanic for their Pilbara Port Operations. These positions are casual ongoing. Full Time WorkPac after 3-6 months for the right candidate.
The successful candidates will work an 7:7 roster, dayshift only, residential or FIFO. The successful candidate will be required to perform a range of jobs from servicing, component change outs, component rebuilds. Min 5 years post trade experience - looking for solid understanding experience working on CAT, KOMATSU and HITACHI equipment,a fleet of Scania, Volvo, isuzu road trucks Toyota vehicles. Proven experience in the repairs and maintenance of light (4WD, Toyota)
Must Have:

• Hold an Australian recognised Heavy Road Haulage Trade Qualification or LV Trade mechanic
  
• Forklift ticket
  
• Basic rigging tickets would be preferred but not essential
  
• Current Australian unrestricted manual Drivers Licence
  
• Able to pass a comprehensive pre-employment medical including DAS screen
  
• Demonstrated track record of working safely
  
• Provide two contactable referees
  
• Australian Rights to Work
  
• Good working attitude
  

Experience Required:

• General Maintenance Experience
  
• Breakdown and fault diagnostic Experience
  
• Field Service & Workshop experience
  
• Experience working with the below Machinery beneficial
