About the role

Due to exponential growth, we have newly created roles within our CSI Crushing team for roving Production Supervisors for our sites around WA (Predominately the Pilbara Region) on a 2/1 FIFO roster (1 week day shift, 1 week night shift). This role will play an integral part in linking workforce and leadership whilst operations and targets are being met in an effective and safe manner.

Reporting to the site manager, this role will provide front line task allocation, direction, mentoring and supervision to onsite crews and monitoring and reporting on operational compliance. You will be responsible for maintaining operational discipline and consistency across teams by ensuring strategies and processes are adhered to at all times.

These roles will be on a full time fixed term contract (initial 12 months with possibility of extension)

We're looking for someone who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and enjoys a challenging yet rewarding work environment. You will be responsible for;
  • Oversee, manage and control the production of crushing and screening plant to achieve the operation outcomes of safety, quality, performance and cost.
  • Manage, control and supervise the production teams and establish good team environment, improve on production efficiencies.
  • Assist in the organisation, planning, preparation and execution of plant shut downs
  • Demonstrate and maintain a high standard of personal safety leadership and a commitment to the safety of fellow workers.
  • Comply with all applicable health, safety and environmental laws and regulations at all times.
  • Previous experience within a Crushing Plant or similar Fixed Processing Plant environment.
  • Ability to lead and manage a high performing team in a rewarding environment.
  • Liaise with the Client and/or representative on a day to day basis.

What you'll bring to the team

Keys requirements and expertise
  • Minimum 3 years demonstrated previous experience within a Mobile Crushing and Screening Plant or similar Fixed Processing Plant environment
  • Knowledge & understanding of computers (Excel and MS Office suite); capable of compiling an presenting reports
  • Ability to lead teams
  • Demonstrate initiative and creative problem solving skills
  • Ability to work in remote locations, physically mobile with a good fitness level
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic individual
