Our client is an expanding principal gold producer currently operating one of WA highest grade underground operations. To facilitate their continued growth, they are looking to appoint an Underground Mine Geologist to join their Mine Geology team.

About the opportunity

Offered as permanency, you will have the opportunity to work in a narrow vein, structurally controlled and high-grade operations that offers a unique orebody to further develop your geology skills.

Reporting to the Senior Underground Mine Geologist, in this role you will be responsible for:

• Underground sampling, face and backs mapping
• Assisting with grade reconciliations and ROM checks
• Providing direction to jumbos and air leg miners
• Production reporting and tracking.

To be considered:

• You must demonstrateat least 2 years prior underground experience as a Mine Geologist within a gold or base metal environment
• Previous experience using Surpac - highly regarded
• You must be currently based in Western Australia, as the role is offered FIFO from Perth on a 12/9 roster.
