About the role

We are looking for an Advisor Global Treasury Services for supporting and managing the organization's treasury and banking operations.

This position is an excellent opportunity to join the Treasury team based in Delhi. This dynamic team is responsible for managing organization's global Treasury and banking operations which involves handling large transactional operations for global banking and Treasury operations. Manage liquidity and funding through in-house banking model, ensure on time funding across BU accounts, manage capital contributions, divestments, Treasury payments & settlements while ensuring correct recording of flows in entity's books. Reporting to the Sr. Advisor - Global Treasury Services, you will be:

· Responsible for day to day operations of global Banking & Treasury requiring coordination with Treasury, Banks and Product groups of Rio Tinto spread across various countries to cater global banking business requirements

· Demonstrate extensive knowledge and deliver on Treasury activities like daily bank rec and cash positioning, cash forecasting, funding and repatriation, liquidity management, cash pooling, payments and settlements.

· Knowledge of funding and settlement through in-house banking structure and netting settlement cycle will be an added advantage.

· Ensuring funding, Wires payments, cash calls being validated before being approved with respect to authorized source documents in the process initiating the payment/transfer.

· Estimating working capital requirements/cash forecasting and planning/arranging sufficient working capital limits.

· Must be aware of MT940, MT101, MT300 swift functionality and related set-ups.

· Experience of working on SunGard's Quantum Treasury System and should be well versed with various functionalities both on cash and FX side.

· Knowledge of international payment & settlement process (ABA, SEPA, ACH, Fedwire etc) and validation, set-up of external banks SSIs, initiate static data set-up of bank, counterparty, bank account rules in QT etc.

· Responsible for day to day operations of global Banking & Treasury requiring coordination with Treasury, Banks and Product groups of Rio Tinto spread across various countries to cater global banking business requirements

· Should have fair understanding of capital markets and trading instruments, commodity trading back office function.

· Should have good understanding and participate of banking related projects to establish new host to host connections, APIs, virtual accounts, onboarding new bank etc.

· Knowledge in relation to adherence of banking compliances and procedures and controls like ACB, AML, cross border restrictions, regulated markets etc. and have fair understanding of internal banking controls and SoX controls with experience of leading internal and external audits

· Responsible to work with off-shore delivery services center to gather required data/inputs and perform rigorous and insightful analysis per business requirements. Understand the accounting entries and its treatment related to cash management, trading activities and treasury related transactions. Expertise in BRS/Bank recon process, Review and approve bank reconciliations.

About you

· B.Com/M.Com/CTP/CPA/CS/CA/ICWA/MBA Finance

· 7 to 10 years of Finance operations, Global Banking / Treasury experience or similar experience

· Experience cash management, transactional banking & Treasury operations

· Understanding and experience of treasury accounting including FX, liquidity, cash flow and various financial instruments

· Sound understanding of accounting principles

· Strong understanding of financial markets, financial instruments and debt instruments

· Knowledge of banking relationships and covenants

· Ability to work autonomously and be part of the broader team

· Appropriate handling of sensitive information

· Excellent time management and organisational ability

· High level of attention to detail

· Strong client relationship management and customer service skills

· Team player with the ability to communicate and coordinate with multiple parties.

To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:

· Knowledge of SunGard Quantum (Treasury Management System) will be considered as an added advantage

· ERP (SAP) Bloomberg, FXALL

· Knowledge of MS Office/Teams /SharePoint

· Intermediate to advanced computer software skills, including Excel and other accounting packages
