We are hiring a Graduate Automation Engineer starting in 2021. The position will be based in Kitimat, British Columbia at our Rio Tinto Aluminium facility. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing change requests from different areas of the plant, designing innovative solutions, developing various alternatives, testing the chosen solution and commissioning while providing technical assistance when required.

What you'll bring

  • Bachelor or master's degree in Engineering (software, computer science, electrical, robotics or mechatronics)

Rio Tinto BC Works is a part of the Atlantic Operations of the Aluminium product group. Rio Tinto has been operating in British Columbia for over 65 years.
