About the role
Expression of interest exists for several Amrun HME Maintenance roles, responsible for the execution of the HME maintenance at Amrun on a 5/5/4 day/night roster.
What the role entails
These roles are a great opportunity for highly motivated individuals with previous HME experience, a strong work ethic and a commitment to safe work. Reporting to the HME Supervisor, you will be:
- Fostering a culture of zero harm and continuous improvement.
- Performing servicing and maintenance activities on Caterpillar HME including 777 & 785 haul trucks, 993K loaders, 16M Graders and D11 T dozers;
- Maintaining mobile ancillary equipment, workshop tooling and various workshop tasks;
- Providing effective maintenance work practices that support increasing equipment reliability;
- Performing fleet tyre maintenance & documentation (Tyre Fitter role)
About you
To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:
- A relevant trade qualification (for Diesel Fitter role);
- Certificate 2 in Heavy Earthmoving Tyre Maintenance (for Tyre Fitter role only)
- A manual C class drivers licence;
- The ability to communicate effectively within a team environment;
- A strong commitment to safety and zero harm culture;
- The ability to be flexible within the role and adapt to a changing environment.
It will also be beneficial if you have:
- Dogger / Rigger / Forklift license and HR Licence
- Knowledge of SAP
- Post trade experience in a mining or heavy industrial environment preferred

Amrun is located 40km south of the Embley River, between Weipa and Aurukun.
