Senior Planner - Fixed Plant

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Planner Fixed Plant to oversee the overall management of our Fixed Plant planning team. This team is responsible for the successful planning of large scale shutdowns and weekly maintenance for all of our fixed plant mechanical, electrical and production teams across the site along with the overall management of fixed plant assets.

This role is a great opportunity for a strong leader with a background in maintenance and maintenance planning. Working Monday to Friday and reporting to the Superintendent Maintenance Shutdowns, you will be:

  • Developing and maintaining our maintenance plan for all site assets
  • Providing subject matter expertise to site on our Planning & Scheduling, Work Management and Shut Management processes
  • Liaising with multiple stakeholders, including Engineering, Asset Management, contract Vendors and site leadership to continuously improve service levels and implement process improvements
  • Development and tracking of monthly annual budgets and spend profile for Tom Price Fixed Plant activities, and ensuring that costs are appropriately managed and monitored against the annual plans
  • Monitoring and improve the effectiveness of our Maintenance Planning & Scheduling process
  • Designing and implement personal and professional development program for your team to build and continuously improve capability, flexibility and skill set diversity

About you

To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:
  • WA Current C Class Manual Driver's License
  • Trade and/or Engineering qualification
  • Advanced SAP skills and experience with processing work flow notifications
  • Substantial experience in a Fixed Plant environment
  • Intermediate knowledge in Microsoft Office including Project and Excel
  • Previous experience in a similar planning/scheduling position with a focus on shutdown planning
  • Strong experience in work management processes

It will also be beneficial if you have:
  • Experience with zero based budgeting and data analytics would be advantageous
  • Capable of operating in a fast paced and dynamic working environment with the ability to multi-task priorities
