12 month-fixed term contract with a possibility to extend.
50% Kindy Programme
50% Mentor/Leader to all centre educators

About the Role
Our Blackwater based client is looking for an experienced Early Childhood Educator to commence work on a full time basis for a 12 month contract in the Bowen Basin. This role will be split equally between delivering the client's Kindergarten program and mentoring staff members .
Duties and Responsibilities

• Delivering a Kindergarten Program along with another Educator
  
• Mentoring other centre educators
  
• Conducting weekly programming
  
• Supervising children
  

Skills and Qualifications

• Completed Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (recognised by ACECQA as an early childhood teaching qualification); or
  
• Bachelor of Education (Primary) with approved early childhood qualification
  
• Previous experience in a similar role
  
• Ability to demonstrate a strong understanding of the Early Year Learning Framework
  
• Must hold current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers
  
• Current paid or exemption blue card (or willing to obtain one)
  
• Updated first aid, CPR and asthma & anaphylaxis
  
• National police check issued within the last three months (or willing to obtain one
