Downer Mining are searching for an Online Training Officer to join our team in Brisbane on a fixed term basis until March, 2021. Our Training & Development team are committed to developing a training system that drives safety, operational and employee effectiveness through the delivery quality training. This role will be responsible for online training module development, deployment and allocation as well as updating existing online modules.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The following is an overview of some of the requirement of the role;

• Online module development
• Define online training learning or performance objectives
• Online module deployment and allocation/targeting
• Develop instructional materials and products for courses to be deployed in the LMS
• Develop work instructions and support materials that align to online training programs
• Provide graphic design support to the Mining Training and Development team and other internal stakeholders

ABOUT YOU

• Bachelor of Design - Visual Communication (or equivalent); Instructional Design
  Certificate (or equivalent)
• Demonstrated experience in a similar role
• Experience Adobe Audition (Voice-Over/Audio editing), Adobe Premiere Pro (Video editing), Adobe Illustrator (Graphic designing), Adobe Photoshop (Photo editing) and Adobe Acrobat DC Pro (Creating and editing PDF files)
• Experience using Articulate Storyline (eLearning authoring program for instructional designer)
• Excellent MS Suite software are knowledge
• Ability to navigate the 'back end' of an LMS
• Ability to broker online training services between internal stakeholders and external
  suppliers
• Demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects at any given time
• Ability to populate training needs analyses into the LMS
• Ability to train and support new users with the LMS
