As a result of recent growth, we are recruiting for a Commercial and Contracts Manager. This role is responsible for supporting the negotiation and management of sales contracts to WesTrac’s customers. The Commercial and Contracts Manager leads a team of commercial professionals, to assist the business with identification and management of commercial risks and development of new contracting opportunities.

The Commercial and Contracts Manager will work closely with the Sales and Operations Teams to deliver contractual obligations, and in support of tender responses. The role is responsible for the commercial negotiation process, and ensures that outcomes are aligned with WesTrac’s contracting benchmarks, and are agreed in consultation with all relevant stakeholders.

This is a full-time permanent position based at our WA head office in South Guildford.

To be successful the following is required:
  • A relevant degree qualification in engineering, business or related fields.
  • Extensive experience in contract management, within a similar industry and/or with demonstrated experience in the establishment and execution of high value contracts.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading high performing teams, and the proven ability to inspire and motivate others, through interpersonal relationships.
  • High level of initiative and problem solving skills with the ability to follow through with required actions.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to interpret and draft advanced contractual concepts.
  • Advanced communication skills – written, verbal and interpersonal.
  • Excellent organisation skills, with the ability to manage fluctuating workloads and conflicting priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain internal and external customer relationships at all levels
