About The Role:

Reporting to the Senior Asset Analyst, you will monitor and analyse equipment & operational data in order to diagnose and predict equipment health. You will develop and prioritise effective solutions aimed at optimising equipment reliability and production.

In This Role You Will:

  • Analyse condition monitoring & operational data and perform diagnostics to evaluate asset condition. Identify potential defects and recommend follow-up maintenance actions in consultation with site personnel
  • Analyse and track equipment health data to identify problems with operator practices and establish appropriate measures and feedback mechanisms in relation to operational practices to facilitate improvements
  • Review the daily, weekly and monthly leading and lagging metrics
  • Conduct detailed review of all assets to identify condition monitoring opportunities
  • Implement condition monitoring program supported by appropriate systems
  • Provide guidance to site to improve existing asset maintenance strategies and support RCM based methodologies
  • Advise maintenance planner/scheduler on work package and schedule requirements
  • Support the tracking and trending of equipment data to determine if our maintenance strategies are effective and efficient
  • Play an active involvement in site-based Defect Elimination programs
  • Identify process bottlenecks/constraints and improve performance through implemented improvement projects


Your Skills, Training & Experience Checklist:

  • Trade or Engineering Qualification
  • +10 Years Heavy Industry experience (Equipment specific knowledge fixed plant)
  • + 5 Years experience in condition monitoring analysis roles (including site based in-field)
  • Vibration Analysis - minimum ISO Level 2 certification (Advanced Analyst)
  • Lubrication Analysis - minimum ICML Level 1 certification (Practitioner and Analyst)
  • Medium level of computer software competency
  • Specialised Condition Monitoring systems, i.e. MHM, Dingo Trakka, etc.
  • MS Office suite (Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook)
  • Advanced analysis of integrated data sources to determine corrective actions
  • Maintainer level of SAP transactional skills (creation and querying of notifications, work order status, extracting history)
  • Proven knowledge and application of fault finding techniques, i.e. Root Cause Analysis
  • Awareness of supporting condition monitoring techniques including; Non-Destructive testing, Ultrasonic testing, etc.
