The Opportunity:

Barminco Mining Services Canada Ltd. has an exciting opportunity for a Truck Operator to join our team underground at the Williams Mine, Hemlo Operations near Marathon, Ontario.

This position starts as a 14-days on / 7-days off rotation, eventually moving to 14/14

Shifts are days and nights.

Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for their safety and the safety of their co-workers while hauling and dumping ore and waste material from development and production sources.

Truck Operators may also be required to assist with other mine related services as needed.

Skills and Experience:

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalency
• Demonstrated commitment to working safely while ensuring the safety of others
• Underground Common Core with a minimum of 2 years' experience as a haul truck operator
• Experience with CAT 30 tonne trucks, Sandvic push-trucks would be an asset
• Must have good radio etiquette and strong communications skills
• Must be able to take initiative, be flexible and willing to assist with a variety of tasks as required
• Ability to learn new tasks quickly
• Ability to work in a cross-cultural environment
