Work location: Fortescue Centre, East Perth
Roster: Monday to Friday
We are currently seeking highly motivated Planning Engineer to join the Long Term Planning Team. Reporting to the Principal Mine Engineer-Long Term Planning, this role is responsible for updating the 5 year mine plan based on the approved Life of Mine Plan.

- Develop, prepare, and deliver 5 year mine plan based on the approved Life of Mine Plan and assess for opportunities
- Communicate and liaise with relevant parties the results of the plan
- Mine Design, internal and external waste dump designs and all other infrastructure designs required for the 5 year plan
- Project and scenario work as required
Qualifications and skills required:
- Bachelor degree in Mining Engineering or similar with a minimum of 4 years experience
- Knowledge in open pit mining preferably within iron ore
- Medium to long term planning and scheduling and mine design knowledge
- Strong analytical skills
- Computer proficiency (ATS, & Vulcan)
- Excellent communication skills and be a team player with a strong desire to provide high quality work
