First Quantum (Ravensthorpe Nickel Operation - RNO) is currently searching for experienced Maintenance Technicians - Electrical & Instrumentation

This role is offered on an 8/6 family friendly DIDO roster (drive on rostered time). BIBO option available from Albany & Esperance

It is also in one of the world's most beautiful areas, with the Fitzgerald River National Park, 12 Mile Beach and the picturesque historic town of Hopetoun in close proximity to the mine site.

The areas we cover include:

* A Beneficiation circuit, consisting of crushers and grinding mills with associated support systems and process circuits including conveying systems, vibrating screens, centrifugal and P.D pumps, pipework and cyclones, various sized tankage with agitation.

* A Leaching circuit consisting of High Pressure Acid Leach Trains which include autoclaves and associated support systems, HP vessels, HP centrifugal and P.D. pumps and pipework also an Atmospheric Leach circuit with associated centrifugal pumps, pipework and various sized tankage with agitation.

* A Hydro circuit with associated centrifugal pumps, pipework and various sized tankage with agitation, pressure and vacuum filters including associated support systems.

* A Utilities plant which includes a Sulphuric Acid plant, steam turbines and diesel generators for power generation, desalination plant, and air compressors.

Key Accountabilities:

• Ensure all electrical maintenance is carried out in a safe and efficient manner for reliability and minimum downtime or interruption
• Ensure all tools, plant and equipment assigned to team are kept in good condition, meet required safety standards and are available for use when required
• Accurate and timely completion of assigned tasks and projects in accordance with relevant Codes, Standards, specifications, drawings , guidelines and company procedures
• Assist with the procurement of materials, planning and organisation of projects, as required
• Assist in the proactive identification of repair and maintenance works required
• Assist to perform an inspection after preparing all materials, tools and equipment on a given project prior to leaving site office and or store area

Specific requirements you will need:

• Must possess an electrical trade qualification and hold a current WA A grade electrical licence
• Electrical Instrumentation Certificate
• Exposure to Profibus and Fieldbus systems
• Current C class manual drivers licence
• Proven experience with all electrical preventative maintenance, unplanned repair & installation tasks on plant & camp equipment
• Ability to make informed decisions
• Mine site experience
