About the role

We are looking for x2 Boilermakers to maintain the site's operating infrastructure through fabrication, repair and overhaul of fixed plant and associated components.

This role is a great opportunity for someone who has a strong work ethic and 'can do' attitude. Working a 4,5,5 lifestyle roster and reporting to the Supervisor, you will be:
  • Repairing and inspecting fixed plant and equipment during planned maintenance intervals
  • Working towards increasing equipment reliability as well as availability
  • Working on fixed plant equipment and supporting maintenance of conveyors, fabrication and repairs to various chutes, stackers, screens and ship loading facilities
  • Fostering a culture of zero harm and continuous improvement

About you

To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:
  • A Boilermaker trade qualification
  • A manual "C" class driver's license
  • Demonstrated experience in welding/cutting of various types of metals
  • Experience in metal fabrication

It will also be beneficial if you have:
  • A working at heights ticket, working in confined spaces or High risk work licence
  • A Forklift, Elevated Work Platform, Overhead Crane, dogging (minimum), or rigging ticket
  • A relevant Welding Certificate
  • Knowledge of computer maintenance management systems, such as SAP
  • Experience in leadership or leading hand in a team environment
  • Ability to work well with peers and to train apprentices and local trainees
