Position Description:

Our people division is growing, and we are looking for Underground Electrical/I&C General Supervisor at our Cortez and Goldrush operations. As part of the Underground Electrical team, the successful candidate will be results centric adding to our already challenging yet rewarding working environment supporting our mining operations. Responsibilities:

• Organize the supervision and resources of personnel and equipment to repair, fabricate and design parts and equipment used in the Underground Mine Division
  
• Prioritize and assign personnel as the job requires
  
• Provide Leadership to the group to ensure the goals of the company are achieved in the safest most productive manner possible
  
• Comply with all Company, Federal and State regulations regarding the environment and safety
  
• Perform other duties as assigned
  

Qualifications:

• Ten (10) years verifiable related electrical maintenance experience required
• Five (5) years of supervisory experience preferred
• Professional communication skills with various levels of employees both verbally and in writing required
• Satisfactory safety, performance and attendance record required
• Team based work skills required
• Proven safe work record required
• Willingness to work in a team-based maintenance organization required
• Demonstrate ability to perform the essential functions of this job required

About Nevada Gold Mines

Nevada Gold Mines is a joint venture between Barrick Gold Corporation (61.5%) and Newmont Goldcorp Corporation (38.5%), combining their significant assets across Nevada to create the single largest gold-producing complex in the world and realize the full potential of these mines through synergies and best-in-class operational improvements.

The massive mining operation comprises 8 mines along with their associated infrastructure and processing facilities that produced an estimated 4 million ounces of gold in 2018. Three of these assets are Tier One gold mines: Barrick's Cortez; the combination of Barrick's Goldstrike and Newmont Goldcorp's Carlin; and the combination of Barrick's Turquoise Ridge and Newmont Goldcorp's Twin Creeks.
