Perenti seeks to engage a suitably experienced, high performing individual for the newly created role of Manager, Organisational Development and Learning.

This role reports to the Group Manager, Organisational Development and works across the group to deliver a range of organisational development programs and initiatives. The primary focus of the role is on learning and leadership development. The remit of the role more broadly offers the opportunity to support the development and implementation of a wide range of organisational development activities related to culture, employee value proposition and inclusion and diversity.

In this newly created role, you will have the opportunity to bring to life a number of key learning and leadership deliverables for the Group. This role requires the ability to think long term and consider the needs of diverse stakeholder groups. It requires someone who is able to translate the theory into practical application, with a very, hands on, pragmatic approach.

This is a dynamic and exciting role that requires agility, energy, and flexibility. Some of the key responsibilities for this role include:
  • Providing guidance and direction in the identification, development, and implementation of group-wide learning programs.
  • Managing the implementation of the Leadership development program (Leading@Perenti) across the group.
  • Supporting the implementation of the group-wide culture measurement process, including action planning on feedback.
  • Proactively engaging key stakeholders across the group to ensure group-wide organisational development initiatives are aligned and fit for purpose.

Experience and Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 8-10 years' experience working in a similar role.
  • Experience within mining and/or mining contracting environment is highly desirable.
  • Advanced communication, facilitation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and manage multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Exceptional time management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and be flexible in approach to getting work done.

The role will be based at the Perenti office in the Perth CBD.
