Document Controller
Our client is a leading global mining group that focuses on finding, mining and processing the Earth's mineral resources
About the Role
We are looking for a Document Controller in the Gladstone area, This role is a great opportunity where the successful applicant will be responsible for supporting project leaders & providing governance consistent with established RTY document management practices.
Working Day Work, Monday Friday we are also willing to discuss flexible working hours.
Skills and Experience
Reporting to the Drafting and Document Control Team Leader, you will be:
Providing document control guidance & governance to site project leaders, maintaining and improving the departments document management system as required
Supporting project leaders and operations personnel with efficient document management
Responsible for supporting the site lead draftsman
Managing engineering related documents including but not limited to archiving & wet signature drawings.
Assisting in the collation of reports
To succeed in this role, you will have:
Certificate in Business Administration or equivalent training/experience
Document Control Systems experience
MS Office Suite experience
Strong knowledge of formal document control/management systems
Engineering drawing revision experience highly desirable
You will be required to complete a pre employment medical if successful.
