- Collate the annual business plan (3-year budget/outlook, board papers & presentations)
- Business partnering with investor relations - involvement in results presentations and market consensus analysis
- M&A deals
- Ad hoc analysis and projects
To succeed in this role, you will need to have experience in the following:
- Several years' experience in a Corporate Finance role
- Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Finance or Accounting combined with a post-graduate qualification (CFA, CA, MAppFin & etc) will be advantageous.
- Capital structuring/gearing (debt versus equity split)
- Dividend payout analysis
- Understand the inputs to and drivers of a company's WACC
- Business case evaluation
- Financial modelling of the above (integrated modelling of cash flows, P&L, balance sheet & associated metrics)
- Report writing/preparing presentation packs for management teams
