MINE GEOLOGIST

OVERVIEW

Alexco Resource Corp. owns the majority of the historic high-grade Keno Hill Silver District located in Canada’s Yukon

Territory. With nearly 1,000 meters of underground development completed at our two new deposits and a robust Pre-

This is a great opportunity to be part of the team that is building one of the highest-grade silver operations in the world.

We are looking for an individual to join our growing team in the role of a Mine Geologist. The successful candidate will collaborate with others in the integration, evaluation and modelling of geological, structural,

and geophysical information collected from drill holes, underground workings, and surficial rock exposures. Have the

ability to interpret the geological and structural architecture of rock volume containing mineral resources which will

support current and future mine developments and related infrastructure. You will incorporate geological and

geotechnical data collected from underground mapping into the mine geologic model to support development of the

mine infrastructure.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor of Science degree in Geology or closely related field, with five years of experience in applied geology and computer modelling.

• Analyzing the geology of deposits;
• Integrating, analyzing, and interpreting complex geological and structural information;
• Constructing interpretive geologic and structural cross-sections and levels;
• Analyzing and validating data for use in the construction of geological models and the resource estimation

process;
• Constructing and validating 3-D wireframe models appropriate for defining ore deposits; the geologic units,

faults and other structures hosting mineralization; and peripheral rock volumes that support the mine design and related infrastructure;

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of geologists and engineers;
• Construct concise reports and verbally communicate results of investigations and models;
• Apply geostatistical techniques to complete resource models;
• Utilize Minesite program for 3-D geological models.
