Located in our Kerrs Road Head Office, the Business Services team forms an integral part of the Downer business and is responsible for managing multi-functional payroll, and finance and accounting procedures for our operations teams across the country.

Within the team, we manage the entirety of accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, payroll, and a multitude of accounting tasks that are all focused on creating efficient processes and effective solutions for the day-to-day running of the business. This role will see you initially working with the Payroll team and interacting with a wide variety of internal and external customers.

  • Proficient in Microsoft office with strong Excel skills
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Passion, drive and enthusiasm
  • You will have good commercial acumen with the ability to approach tasks practically
  • A natural ability to work with others
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Accurate data entry
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • In possession of a Bachelor's degree
  • Optional - CA qualification through CAANZ your goal
