Office Team Leader - Project Office

Work Location: Perth

Roster: 5/2 Roster

The Office Team Leader for the Project Office will provide daily support and guidance to the team of professionals who manage and operate the office facilities to ensure the highest level of customer service is achieved. You will influence your team to provide exceptional verbal and written communication skills to all customers and create an environment that portrays the Fortescue values

You will be a leader who can empower staff at all levels to take charge and drive customer outcomes across Fortescue. You will be a people person who can build and maintain strong teams with a 'Can Do, Will Do' attitude ensuring our employees feel valued, recognised and engaged. You will have prior experience in a complex and dynamic project environment with competing priorities.

Key accountabilities will include:

  • Provide high level of customer service to all customers and oversee the running of the two (2) Project Receptions
  • Evaluate office procedures/task sheets and implement more efficient ways of conducting process
  • Assign tasks to Reception and Mailroom Team Members in accordance with daily tasks sheets and troubleshoot any team queries.
  • Oversee the process and management of office supplies to ensure all stock meets par levels and is readily available
  • Provide general administrative support to our Fortescue Employees and address any queries relating to the Project Office.
  • Complete daily audits of the office to ensure all office and maintenance tasks have been completed by Team members and vendors with the office presented in a good operable and clean condition.
  • Catalogue and oversee office furniture to ensure it's safe and operable with all repairs and replacements reported.

Qualifications and skills required:

  • Team leader or similar experience running an office
  • Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills
  • Previous experience providing high level of customer service to various stakeholders.
