Receptionist / Office Administrator

Work Location: Perth

Roster: 5:2 or flexible working hours

Fortescue Metals Group are looking for a Corporate Receptionist with excellent customer service skills. You will have immaculate presentation, previous corporate reception experience and the ability to work unsupervised. The successful candidate will have excellent stakeholder management and relationship building skills, demonstrate a flexible, can-do attitude, and possess a polished communication style.

Key accountabilities will include:

  • Provide a professional and exceptional level of customer service to visitor and colleagues
  • Maintain a professional presentation of the office, meeting rooms, reception area and kitchens
  • Contact person for service providers, vendors, maintenance, mailing, couriers, supplies, equipment, and general office administration duties
  • Manage office and kitchen supplies
  • Mailroom management and courier coordination
  • Monitor and managing Outlook
  • Data entry
  • Administration duties including minute taking, PowerPoint presentations and other Microsoft components
  • Managing building maintenance requests
  • Goods invoicing and receipting
  • Managing a high volume of phone calls and redirecting accordingly

Qualifications and skills required:

  • Friendly and outgoing personality with a can-do attitude
  • Ability to prioritise, organise and manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable to work in a demanding environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills including a passion for communicating with a variety of people
  • Highly effective team player
  • Willingness to go above and beyond for guest and colleagues alike
  • Manage a switch board for large company with 500+ employees
  • Administration skills
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills specifically Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • 3 + year's experience in a similar role
  • Certificate in business studies (desirable)
  • SAP receipting experience (desirable)
  • SAMWIN (desirable)
