Position: Autonomous Drill Controller
Work Location: Fortescue Centre, East Perth (for our Christmas Creek Mining Operations)
Roster: 4D4N8R
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced autonomous drill controller working on 4D/4N 8RnR roster. You will be controlling six fully autonomous platform drills from a remote control room located at Fortescue's Perth office in the Hive for Christmas Creek.

- Safe control of autonomous drills
- Efficient planning and drilling patterns with multiple machines
- Maintaining positive communication with maintainers & operations entering/exiting autonomous drill areas
- Updating breakdown records in Minestar
- Consumable recordkeeping
- Uploading of patterns and geo-boundaries
- Reporting system anomalies
Qualifications and skills required:
- Familiar with "Flanders" autonomous drill system
- Experienced in manned drill operation
- The ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to multitask on several activities/priorities at the same time
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Intermediate ability to use Microsoft Suite i.e. Word and Excel
- Familiar with MineStar desirable
