Analyste contrôles financiers

Sous la responsabilité du Gestionnaire, Contrôles Financiers il/elle travaille sur différentes initiatives ayant pour objectif l’amélioration continue des processus d’affaires et financiers de l’entreprise. De plus, il/elle supporte le programme annuel de validation des contrôles internes à l'égard de l'information financière (ICFR), incluant la documentation, la formation, la planification, l’identification des contrôles clés ainsi que les tests de contrôles. L’analyste travaille en étroite collaboration avec les différentes unités d’affaires et les fonctions corporatives.  

L’analyste devra aimer travailler dans un environnement actif aux tâches sans routine et changeantes. Ce rôle supporte autant à la remédiation des déficiences qu’à des projets d’améliorations. Il/elle, donne de la formation et publie des politiques et procédures afin d’optimiser l’environnement de contrôle. 

Quelle sera votre contribution dans l'équipe
  • Présentation et différentes analyses reliées à la gouvernance financière pour la haute direction;  
  • Supervision et formation d’analystes financiers et stagiaires 
  • Participer à la revue annuelle de la matrice des risques et contrôles ; 
  • Participer à la planification et accomplir des mandats ICFRs ; 
  • Émettre des recommandations à la direction et effectuer des suivis sur les déficiences identifiées lors des audits ; 
  • Assister la direction dans la résolution des déficiences et l’amélioration de l’environnement de contrôle. 
  • Implication dans le processus de sous certification des états financiers trimestriels ; 
  • Être un expert interne en matière de politiques, processus, risques et contrôles financiers ; 
  • Donner des formations aux unités d’affaire et les fonctions corporatives en matière de politiques, processus, risques et contrôles financiers  
  • Participer à des projets d’améliorations de la fonction finance 


Que recherchons-nous?
  • Titre comptable professionnel (CPA) ; 
  • Cumuler au minimum 5 ans d’expérience pertinente ; 
  • Bilinguisme français et anglais (parlé et écrit) ; 
  • Connaissance du règlement 52-109 ou de la Loi SOX un atout ; 
  • Solides aptitudes en relations interpersonnelles, leadership et capacité à interagir efficacement avec des gens de tous les niveaux hiérarchiques ; 
  • Orientation vers les résultats, aptitude pour gérer des situations potentiellement difficiles et des échéanciers serrés ; 
  • Esprit d’équipe, autonomie, minutie, rigueur et sens des responsabilités ; 
  • Connaissance du fonctionnement d’une grande entreprise acquise par le biais d’expérience en consultation ou en industrie un plus ; 
  • Connaissance des systèmes Oracle et Hyperion un plus ; 
  • Disponibilité pour voyager à l’étranger (occasionnel).

Senior Analyst, Financial Controls & Governance

Why join our team?

Reporting to the Manager, Financial Controls and governance, Senior Analyst works on various initiatives to continuously improve the business and financial processes of the company. In addition, he supports the annual Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR) audit, including planning, training, remediation of deficiencies/improvements, as well control tests, if required. The analyst works closely with the different business units and corporate functions. The analyst should enjoy working in an active environment with non-routine and changing tasks. He also provides training and review/publishes policies and procedures to enhance the control environment.

What will be your contribution to the team?
  • Presentation and various analysis related to financial governance for senior management;
  • Supervision and training of financial analysts and interns
  • Participate in the annual review of the risk and control matrix;
  • Participate in the planning of the annual ICFR audit, and fulfill ICFR mandates, if required;
  • Make recommendations to management and follow up on deficiencies identified during audits;
  • Assist management in resolving deficiencies and improving the control environment.
  • Involve in the process of sub-certification of quarterly financial statements;
  • Be an internal expert in financial policies, processes, risks and controls;
  • Provide training to business units and corporate functions on policies, processes, risks and financial controls
  • Participate in special projects to improve the finance function


What are we looking for?
  • Professional accounting designation (CPA);
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience;
  • French and English bilingualism (spoken and written);
  • Knowledge of National Instrument 52-109 or SOX an asset;
  • Strong interpersonal skills, leadership and the ability to interact effectively with people at all hierarchical levels;
  • Results orientation, ability to manage potentially difficult situations and tight deadlines;
  • Team player, autonomous, rigorous and accountable;
  • Knowledge of the operation of a large company acquired through consulting or industry experience a plus;
  • Knowledge of Oracle and Hyperion systems a plus;
  • Availability to travel abroad (occasional).
