About the Role
Reporting to the site-based Mining Systems Supervisor; you will provide direct support and be required to respond quickly when faults are identified to the sites mining system applications.
With the introduction of the Operations Centre, located in Perth, you will also act as the interface between site-based customers and the Operations Centre production systems to ensure ongoing user requirements are being delivered in a consistent and professional manner.

Skills and Experience

  • Manual C Class Australian issued Drivers Licence (minimum)
  • Trade qualification in Auto Electrical, Radio Communication or Industrial IT
  • Extensive knowledge in Mining systems application such as Modular Mining (Dispatch, MineCare and Powerview)
  • Strong working knowledge of Komatsu Autonomous Haulage System
  • High Precision GPS
  • Demonstrated experience with Fleet Management Systems
  • Mobile radio network (WIFI)
  • Experience in Mobile radio network (LTE) and CCTV camera systems
  • Mine Production Reporting Solutions (Oracle an SQL based experience)
  • Experience in Pit Technology Solutions (i.e. Survey Technology, Wall Monitoring Solutions)
  • Experience with Autonomous Mining Systems
  • Open cabling license and endorsements
  • Proficient in the use of SAP
