Our client is a high performing ASX listed company, with a robust history of delivering diverse mining and mineral processing services across multiple commodities. On their behalf we are looking to attract the services of a highly experienced and passionate mobile plant asset specialist for their Perth office.

Reporting to the Head of Mining Services, you will be involved in the provision of operating estimates as well as capital forecasting and maintenance strategies. You will also provide leadership to a team of site and Perth based mobile asset professionals with responsibility for operating equipment across the company.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Management of a team of mobile asset professionals
• Equipment operating estimates, capital forecasting and maintenance planning
• Managing supplier relationships
• Preparing Maintenance forecasts
• Managing asset cost profiles
• Managing Continuous improvement processes
• Reporting fleet performance tomaximiseavailability; and
• Working closely with the Project and Area Managers.

Ideally, we are looking for:

• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Asset Management
• Several years within the mining industry
• Extensive experience in mobile asset maintenance and performance strategies
• Demonstrated leadership which supports a high-performance culture
• A track record in supplier and external stakeholder management.
